I bought this to add more antioxidants into my diet - pine bark has a high anti-oxidant capacity and these small tablets are very dark red showing the presence of the plant components (like eating a rainbow of colourful plants) - I take two a day with my lunch and dinner. I think I will reduce to one a day. I read a book on brain health that recommended pine bark so I am giving this product a go - because eating 30 different plants a week (as we are now being advised to do) is a bit difficult when you have a full time job! This little pill helps improve the quality of diet.
