The original growing area for Dragonwell is Hangzhou, Zhejiang. More recently, Xifeng, near Hangzhou has been producing this tea. The Art of Hand Roasting In marking Dragonwell, newly sprouted tea leaves are hand roasted in a wok to give them a flat, shiny appearance. This traditional and artisanal technique determines the flavorful profile and value of the tea. It take about one hour to roast each pound of tea. Flavor Profile Rich, toasty aroma. Makes a buttery brew with flavor reminiscent of roasted chestnuts. The Tao of Tea Like the Tao, the art of tea is universal. We began our work serving as a connecting thread for tea culture in 1997. Very delicate flavour
Wow this roasted Green Tea surprised me in the way it looks - top quality! Love the Tao of Tea but this one also surprised me with its very subtle taste. Will brew it a bit stronger next time as though it tasted lovely , I had obviously just make it too weak.

Taste better than jasmine tea
I like dragonwell tea more than jasmine tea. Both are green tea, but dragonwell tastes stronger. Try different water temperature, you will get your favorable taste.

Love this brand of tea
Most brands I bought from Vitacost were not carried over to iHerb, but this one was. Sadly, iHerb prices are higher. Dragonwell is one of my favorite green teas. It has a distinctive flavor. I like to relax with a cup of it at the end of the day.
