We keep Chestal Cough Syrup on hand in our house. This is an effective quality homeopathic cold remedy that works well. I've been giving this to my child for years when she has a cold and it relieves her symptoms. I highly recommend taking it at the first sign of symptoms as that's when it's the most effective. We've had noticeable improvement in symptoms when my daughter has taken this. She doesn't mind the taste. The ingredients are pure and Boiron is a trusted brand that I've used for years. It’s awfully sweet. Even though my daughter usually loves sweet tastes, she sometimes refuses to take it when she’s not feeling well (which is, of course, how you usually feel when you’re sick). So, we’ll probably finish this one bottle and then I’ll try ordering something else. You can even see sugar traces on the bottle that’s been sitting on the shelf for several months. I can say that it works well against symptoms as the label states, but we need less sugar when we are sick to get rid of inflammation as soon as possible, and excess of sugar doesn't help here at all.
