Hawthorne is well known for its cardiac benefits but in Chinese medicine, it is also known for its digestive benefits. This formula contains hawthorne flowers and leaves in addition to the berries. I find this makes it more effective as a digestive aid than the berries alone. I like the liquid extract as it is well absorbed and it is easy to adjust the dosage. The taste is quite ok.
Recently I began to have high blood pressure spikes, and this extract literally saved me and in few days my blood pressure was back to normal. Also calming down a bit:)
