Best Magnesium product out there. The raw material is from a serious US company called Albion. Clean product. This is also a fully reacted product with 100% Magnesium Bisglycinate. The opposite is when a powder is "buffered". In the case of magnesium it's pH buffered with 50% total Magnesium Oxide which is an inferior product. It hardly ever says that on the label and thereby the company indirectly lies to the consumer by supplying misleading information.

This truly is the very best Magnesium available. It is very well tolerated and does not contain any magnesium stearate or silica. I looked into some information about magnesium bisglycinate and found that the vast majority of studies about chelated magnesium have been done on this form! If you are taking it with water, make sure to dilute it, but I have it in the evening with my smoothie so I can't even notice that its there.

I buy this because it contains no nasty eccipients and is 100% magnesium bisglycinate, NOT a buffered form with lots of magnesium oxide in it. Taste: I would not describe it as pleasant, but had not really noticed it frankly. I mix it with water, mix it well and drink it. I am however someone who drinks green powders/drinks all day. You might want to mix in a smoothie if the taste bothers you.

Taste is bad, but the quality is high. The more you dilute it with water the less of the bad taste you get, also better for absorption that way. When mixed with protein shakes or the like, you do not even feel it. Excellent product and the price is great.

This is otherwise a great product, but contains citric acid. Citric acid causes dental erosion. If I want to buy Magnesium Bisglycinate powder, why can't I buy just that?

i bought this right away when i saw the price, and i'm a big fan of chelated magnesium and pretty much any magnesium form. however i confirm that this has a horrible taste. not even bitter msm powder can compare to this one, tbh. i took it as it is and also tried mixing and diluting in pretty much everything, water, milk, juices, kefir, yoghurt and it still tasted nasty. we even once dared a family friend to eat a spoon and his face was a sight we'd never forget. also when i bought chelated form from carlson labs or doctor's best, i remember that those tabs had no distinguished taste, yet they had a distinguished smell (similar to ethanol), and also the first intake (after a long break, i guess there's a tolerance) of 100% of daily value of those gave me a 'high' effect, aka making me super relaxed and feeling nicely. that effect lasts only for the first intake and then it just fades out. with healthy origins version there were no such distinguished features. so from time to time i drink healthy origin's anyway, but honestly, i still take cheaper forms like oxide or citrate more often because there's no problem in how they taste.

I bought this because a friend of mine recommended it for sphincter of Oddi spasms. I have to say that since using it my pain has diminished almost completely.

This Mag taste very strong in a bad way. You have to mix with pure Vit-c or another taste masking Fruit etc. I use Nutribiotic vit-c(1 tspn) and Bioceuticals night muscle-eze powder (just half a tspn) Ethical Nutrients Mega Mag powder would work well too. I also use now bisglycinate powder which is not smelly at all.
