I've used nut butters before (peanut butter not included), and I've enjoyed them. Playing tennis at age 75, especially in 90 degree weather, isn't easy. On most days, after eating my usual meal, I add some a rice cracker or something similar about 30 minutes before leaving home. And I top it with Artisana Raw Almond Butter. Artisana is my favorite brand of nut butter. I use the Almond variety mostly, but do like to enjoy a different tasting nut butter once in a while like pecan or walnut. This is my go to protein . Breakfast with an english muffin with raw almond butter with a few berries on top or banana or maybe a hint of high quality jam for a Almond Jelly sandwich hits the spot.
