I bought this thinking it would be an ok substitute for oil. Don't do that! It's mostly just the coconut fiber with not a lot of oil, and will burn in the pan. It's also somehow different in taste. I love coconut oil but hated this at first, took about three or four uses to develop a liking for it. Now I think it's quite nice.

I really love this coconut butter. It tastes delicious with a capital D. The only problem I found was that because it’s winter the coconut butter is really hard so it’s difficult to get it out of the jar when it’s rock hard solid. But that’s only because I wanna eat more and because it’s so delicious. Really great flavor indeed. Love it !
