Berberine is good for a lot of different ailments. Its good for diabetics as it helps regular glucose levels from your blood. Helps with insulin resistance. It can help convert vitamin D into an active form so you can absorb it better into your body. Its a chemical that comes plants. I highly recommend this product!
I took this with food and with two hours starting at 9 o'clock, the aches and subtle pain of my inflammed lower back muscle stopped. The pain was lingering for 3 days. I became more alert, clear headed etc and and was able to perform my job right up to when my shift ended. I had not been consistently taking it for two weeks now as I ran out but found a capsule lying around in my bottle. I do not take it daily. It's three times a week.

This is my preferred Berberine for blood glucose regulation and digestion. I began using Berberine when I had SIBO and discovered it was helpful for intestinal regularity and reduced microbial overgrowth. Each capsule contains 250 mg of berberine from Indian Barberry as well as 285 mg of Oregon Grape. I prefer this mixed complex of berberines. The capsules can be opened and mixed with applesauce for those like me who cannot swallow pills as long as you can tolerate the strong, somewhat bitter flavor.
