Cherry Fruit, Sweet Cherry Extract, 180 Capsules (500 mg per Capsule)

I write this review for my mom who has actually been using this emu cream for 11 days by now. My mom is 70 years old and she is suffering from osteoarthritis for about 6 years. She has pain on her knees. If she walks a little bit longer than usual, her knees get slightly swollen. She took all kinds of food supplements such as glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, collagen, cherry fills, and also she has been taking physical therapy regularly. With all these efforts, she could impede the deterioration of her knees and the pain hardly came to her. When she hardly felt the pain any longer, she stopped taking the food supplements, because she wanted to minimize putting chemicals in to her body. Without any of these chemicals, she was ok for about a year; however, recently, she feels the pain on her knees again. She started taking cherry fills again. She prefers it to other supplements because cherry pills are just dried fruit powder. It also works fine to her knee pain.

Bought these for my dad how has had bad gout for around 4 years. he tried them before Christmas last year and when I saw him in january, he wanted more of these capsules....for the first time in 4 years he had no more pain! So, I highly recommend them for gout.

I take this to alleviate arthritis in my thumbs. It works in the dry climate where I live but during "wet" months or in humid climates, I sometimes have to switch from cherry extract to turmeric, which for me, is stronger. I've had digestive issues taking turmeric for longer periods, however, so I prefer cherry extract. I believe, but aren't sure, that cherry extract has less of an effect on my system. I'm purchasing the Nature's Way brand again but also am also purchasing the Solgar alternative, which is 2x pricier. It will be interesting to compare them.

I think this is really good to take to help symptoms of gout. In the long run a change of diet will do a lot more though.

I take these to reduce my gout attacks. They seem to help but do not totally eliminate them. I am certain my diet doesn't help.
