Vitamin D3, 50 mcg (2,000 IU), 360 Softgels

Being exposed to the sun does not mean you get the right amount of D3. Trust me. I live in a place with 360 days of sun and yet the mayority is deficient. The standard supplementation here is to take 25000 IU in one shot monthly. But it turned out not to be sufficient for me for so I ordered sports research 2000IU. Taking it daily in combination with K1. One might think that it's a lot but for me the dose could even be higher as my recent blood work revealed.

I love that Sports Research uses Coconut Oil (MCT) as the carrier instead of cheap soybean oil—it definitely helps with absorption since Vitamin D is fat-soluble. The softgels are tiny and easy to swallow. The 360-count bottle lasts a whole year. Essential for immune health during the winter.

This is actually the best quality D3 supplement I have had so far. Clean label, no unnecessary fillers or ingredients, small size softens, perfect dosage! My sun exposure is less so I have vitamin D deficiency. This was recommended by my doc for long term usage.

Vitamin D3 is one supplement that I always take and I really like this one from Sports Research. It comes in different strengths and I really like that it is 3rd party tested, cGMP compliant and has coconut MCT oil rather than a lesser quality oil.
