To be honest, I have been taking a low dose of Ambien for a while, so I used to sleep like a log…until I started peri-menopause. Now, I often wake up boiling hot, kicking the covers off of me, even in winter…even with Ambien. 😢 This product helps, primarily because it has melatonin in it. As for the black cohosh, I don't know what that ingredient is benefiting—maybe helping w/ the hot flashes?—but good gawd does it taste awful! The size is pretty big, too, and I try to throw it as far back as possible when I take it, but every. single. time. it makes me gag. 😬 So ★★★★ for sleep quality, but ☆ for size and taste.
