These come in soft gel form so are easy to swallow. I take this and other products to strengthen my nails & hair and so far I do see a difference over the course of many months. I think one needs to take these for a number of months to start seeing a real difference.
I’ve been taking Applied Nutrition Longer Stronger Hair & Nails® for about a month now. I mainly bought it for hair support and brittle nails after a stressful period. So far, I’m happy with the results: my nails have become noticeably stronger and stopped peeling, and my hair looks fuller and sheds less when washing. The capsules are fairly large, but still easy to swallow, with no unpleasant smell or taste. I also like the formula — it contains biotin, collagen, zinc, and silica, which are commonly included in hair and nail supplements. Of course, you shouldn’t expect instant results, but I started noticing the first improvements after about 3–4 weeks. I think it’s best to take it for at least 2–3 months for more visible results.
This canvas pencil case is deceptively small but unzips to lay flat and hold a hundred pens in elastic loops. The material is water-resistant, which saved my pens when a water bottle leaked in my bag. The zipper is heavy-duty brass and has never snagged on the fabric edges. I've used Applied Nutrition Longer Stronger Hair & Nails (LSHN) for the last 5 years. I initially used them to help with healing after a major joint replacement. Research indicated that the ingredients in LSHN were necessary to speed healing. I thought I might need them because hormone changes had caused me to get very brittle nails, and, as I normally wear my hair very long, I had noticed an increasing amount of hair being lost over the previous year. I took them and healed in record time. I literally went hiking and mountain climbing in Yosemite 5 weeks after a full hip replacement. The ingredients are combined to maximize their effects, with silica, a major component of bone, a part of the mix. I hate the artificial sweetner in many products, and the smell/taste in others, so the convenience of a pill allowed me to take it consistently. My hip healed quickly, and over the next 6 months my nails became normal. At about the same time I noticed my hair had become much thicker.... actually thicker than it had been in years. The pills are large, but the gel covering makes them easy to take. For me, the results prove the quality. I think the title says it all. I have found it easy to swallow with plenty of water. They don’t have an after taste, and I can hold them in my mouth for a bit with no problem while I grab the water and the rest of my supplements. Each dosage is well coated and slide down easy. My skin is really soft now, and doesn’t feel scaly. And my hair is growing faster now. It really benefits me. This is a KILLER VALUE with all the horsetail in it, compared to others I have looked at.

Affordable, & you don’t know until you try this product, & see for yourself how impressive your skin is, & hair, nails.( I personally recommend Applied Nutrition products-AND drink plenty of water-DON’T over-do it.
