Spiru-Tein®, Protein Powder Meal, Starwberry, 2.4 lbs (1,088 g)

One of my American friends introduced this to me several years ago. Perhaps in 2016. He was a doctor who introduced this to me and he told me that ingredient is ordinary and healthy compared to other similar products. Of course quality is also good. My favourite flavour is cookie and cream but strawberry is also good. I am eating this for a diet. I ordered cookie and cream, chocolates and vanilla too.

I have this protein shake once or twice a week to boost my protein intake as I don't eat much meat, fish etc. Protein is important for so many things and I find that this shake helps massively with the brain fog that has been plaguing me for a number of years. It also helps with sugar cravings. I usually have this as my breakfast. I have tried strawberry, banana and vanilla and I like all of them but strawberry is my favorite. The only thing I would change is to remove the soy element as I don't do too well on soy. If that happened, I would probably have this every day. Thank you iherb for making this available.

I guess its made of soy so the texture is slightly slimy. It dissolves well in either water or milk, and not too sweet. my only gripe is that a 110 calorie serving provides 14g protein, while another plant based protein brand can provide 20g protein in a 130g serving.

My son was using this when I visited him recently. I tried one portion mixed with milk and found the taste very pleasing. He gave me the rest of his container. I really like the taste of the strawberry (only flavor I have tried) but most importantly this drink satisfies me straight through to lunch with no nibbling. Over a 2 month period I used this for my breakfast most days, and modified a few behaviors- exercised more often and curbed my between meal snacking , and managed to lose 10 pounds! I will continue to use it to help me maintain my healthier weight. I’m impressed with the amount of nutrition packed into this product. I am not sacrificing anything by using this as a meal substitute.

I use it with milk or water before my morning walk, B12 used is methylcobalamin along with spirulina is why is prefer this. Energetic and all my daily supplements of vitamins and mineral are there.

Use well.. good for kids age and adults.. package is perfect.. good benefit.. size is good.. nice scent.. good compositions.. I will buy again definitely.. good quality.. good ingredient.. good nourishment.. good moiturize..

It is hard to find tasty soy protein powders. I have used Spiru-tein products since the 80s. I did like this, but now Spiru-tein is a combo of soy plus other protein (rice and pea). I wish they would bring back the all soy version. It tasted much better and I personally think soy is superior veggie protein. It is sweet and has bits of dried strawberry fruit in it which are crunchy and slightly annoying (lol). That being said, I did enjoy it and finished the container but probably won't buy it again. (Unless they bring back the all soy version).
