Emu oil is heavier than a lot of other oils such as Jojoba (which I also love) but it seems to penetrate the skin quickly and the softening effects last. Within minutes of applying any oily feeling had disappeared. You can use it sparingly as it seems to spread quite well after it hits the warmth of your skin. I put it on my face before I go to bed and when I wake up, my face still feels moist and soft. There's no fragrance to this oil and it's organic. My husband uses it too. He was really impressed with the difference it made on his 39 year old skin. His pores got smaller. The texture of his skin is smoother and moister. Even his wrinkes seem softer. As for me, my skin is now "bump" free and the skin tone has evened out. I really do think over time it makes your skin look a little younger and softer. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this is some miracle oil. BUT...it has made a noticeable difference in keeping my skin looking healthier and softer.
