At 79, I'm not about to expose my skin to the sun every day as I live in Nevada! I also do not wish to age my skin and risk developing skin cancer, so I found that taking V-D3 by itself (not in combo with another vitamin), I get maximum V-D without frying in the sun! These quality ingredients help my immunity and keeps me from having a deficiency. It's easy to absorb and helps my bones too. I found a good effect on my joints when I take the proper dosage. Size is easy to swallow too. Now I can stay out of the sun.
I love Paradise Herbs. They put so much thought into their products; they bother to make good value vegetarian supplements; the capsule size is very small so they are extremely easy to take. 5000 IU is about the highest available vitamin D dose commercially available. Not harmful to take every day even though this is slightly above the RDI.

the quality of these are great. it has a good source of ingredients that aren't harmful. it's a decent size bottle with 90 pills. the dosage is on the bottle of how many to take. it came great packaged. my husband has been taking them daily and I haven't heard him complain about taste or anything. they are vegetarian capsules so that's a plus.
