I have been taking Carlson's brand cod liver oil for years. I liked it because it has a more pleasant taste than many other cod liver oil brands I have tried. However, I recently noticed that the Carlson's brand has a fairly low vitamin A content ( 255 mcg=1333 IU vitamin A per teaspoon) . I did a little search, and found this Nature's Answer cod liver oil (1,200 mcg=4000 IU vitamin A per teaspoon). I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the taste of the Nature's Answer is also as light and pleasant as the Carlson's kind, with no fishy aftertaste. I take 2 tsp. per day. It really helps with my dry hair and the keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) on my arms. It also really helps to keep joint inflammation under control. I am very happy with this product, and will purchase this brand again when I run out.

This product is pure win. It is the best DHA source for the price, remember DHA is more important than EPA. In addition you get good quality vitamin A (retinol, not beta-carotene), vitamin D3 and E. The flavor is neutral, kind of lemon, it is not unpleasant. The bottle is dark to prevent light coming in and perturbing the delicate omega 3 oils. For those who don't want to get these vitamins, Nature's Answer sells a similar product called Fish Oil (from sardines and anchovies).
Bought this for my dad as we only take cod liver oil rather than normal fish oil because it doesnt contain mercury. Cod liver oil benefits the body with good omegas and helps reduce inflammation. I take it myself because i notice without it my knees easily locks out from time to time. The packaging is also good.

If you don't like the pure taste of the cod liver oil (which is very specific), this one may serve as a nice option. Due to lime taste, it feels ok.
