I don't exercise and the first day of taking 3-4 of these pills, I could feel my leg muscles hardening. Unfortunately I got fat from prescription gluco-cortico-steroids and that fat (located in my upper body only) won't budge no matter what! But I seem to be developing muscle under all that flab. I used to have a very firm, thin upper body. Maybe after a few years of these the steroid-induced fat will finally melt? He will take these though. Some is better than none. The suggested dose is just that—suggested. Do your research about what your body needs before deciding on what and how much to take. As for the reports of color any where from golden to creamy inside—it’s coconut oil in there. Temperature plays a huge role in this. If it is cooler in your home, they will be a semi solid and creamy colored inside. If it is warm in your home, or you have held it in your hand long enough, it will fully or partially melted inside and actually clear—the golden color is from the gelatin it is encased in.
