Women's Daily Multi Formula, 90 Caplets

i sometimes struggle with multi vitamin tablets because they seem to have too much of something (zinc in my case) which i negatively react to, not the case here.

I feel very conflicted about this product for a few reasons. For starters, it’s very difficult for me to find a multivitamin that has safe dosages for my age and height while also being halal. Most multivitamins use gelatin and some products use an unnecessary amount of a certain vitamin, which isn’t needed for the average person unless they’re severely deficient. For instance, I commonly see biotin marked pretty high on multivitamins when in actuality you don’t need much. Biotin in higher doses also causes me to break out, which is why I get excited when I can find a product that meets my needs. This was one of the vitamins that met my criteria. I have been using it for weeks now and I believe it works, however, this vitamin does cause constipation. I was able to use the restroom fine before this product (daily) now im having bowl movements every 2-3 days. I suspect it’s because the form of iron isn’t easily digestible. I’ve been trying to increase my fiber intake but i’m still using the restroom every two days & face occasional constipation. Everyone’s experience may be different with this product and unfortunately my search for a good multivitamin that meets my needs without triggering an allergic reaction or upsetting my sensitive stomach is still on going. I’ll continue using until I find a suitable replacement.
