this is good to use in place of omega 3’s from fish oil or in conjunction with fish oil. the liquid flax oil you buy in stores is most likely oxidized so unless you are grinding and extracting fresh flax seeds daily, a softgel is your next best option. i have yet to buy anything from this company that was of poor quality. their encapsulation is always solid and have never experienced rancidity with any of their products. flaxseed softgels do tend to clump together
