These stroopwafels are a delightful treat! The honey flavor adds a nice, subtle sweetness to the classic caramel-filled waffle. They are perfect for placing over a warm cup of coffee or tea to soften the caramel center. The packaging keeps them fresh, and they are a great indulgence for satisfying a sweet tooth.
The waffles are thin, crisp, and nicely baked, while the caramelized honey filling inside is soft, rich, and perfectly sweet, maybe even too sweet. They have a wonderful buttery scent and a very satisfying texture - slightly crunchy on the outside with smooth caramelized honey in the middle. My favorite way to enjoy them is to place a stroopwafel on top of a cup of hot tea or coffee for a minute so the caramel softens slightly. It makes them taste even more delicious. Overall, these are high-quality stroopwafels.
The balance of the thin, crispy waffle with the rich, soft syrup inside is incredible. I love that Daelmans uses real butter and bourbon vanilla, you can actually taste the quality. The honey version is a nice twist on the classic caramel; it's sweet but not overpowering. Warning: it’s very hard to eat just one. These are officially my favorite pantry staple!
As a huge fan of the Dutch stroopwafels, I fell in love with them even more when I visited Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and trying these freshly baked. But alas, you can't find them fresh outside of the Netherlands, much less in Asia, so this is where Daelmans, a classic brand, comes in. The original uses caramel/stroop (syrup) which might be super sweet and not the healthiest, so replacing it with honey might be a much more pleasant welcome, to both your tastebuds and general health.

Like this Dutch waffles very much and used to buy it from Europe. It's hard to get it in Hong Kong. And now I can buy it with low price on iHerb. It's awesome!
This honey flavour is a bit different from the traditional maple syrup version. Some nice chewy texture, but offers another gentle sweet taste. Recommend to people who care about ingredients while keeping the food quality.
These honey stroopwafels are delicious crispy on the outside with a sweet, gooey honey filling. Perfect with coffee or tea when you want a cozy treat. A bit sweet, but totally worth it!
