This product was recommended for fibromyalgia to increase production of seratonin in the brain. Have only been taking it a week but do notice that I am sleeping better and don't feel as on edge for the day. Easy to swallow capsules and the cost is very affordable for the benefits it offers.

I always use St. John's Wort during stressful periods of life. It's very helpful - I take one 400-500 mg pill before sleep, and it works greatly. I am happy with the quality of this one.

I'm used to some St John's Wort extract from Germany and this one seems less potent somehow. Unfortunately I couldn't find out the exact differences in the extraction method, or what the difference exactly is, but in case this one doesn't do the job for you try another brand. I usually love Solaray, but I found that St John's Wort is really tricky to make a good extract from. Maybe it will work for other people.

I use it for moderate depression instead of a prescription. It's been effective but I would caution that it can interfere with some other meds, so perhaps check with a trusted professional, physician? pharmacist? before you invest in it and begin taking it.
