Love that these are only gelatin & water. No other junk! But with that being said... they are not veggie caps. They are bovine - so they are gelatin from Cattle! I'd prefer a veggie cap. The #3 size is approx 1/2 long and fits 150 mg - 200mg of powder. So it is on the smaller size - which I like and smaller is so hard to find now-a-days. The bag says this is "the smallest empty capsule size available". It took me a while to figure this out and learn that the number represents the size. The higher the number, the smaller the capsule . For example size 0 is a larger capsule (holds more) than size 3. So if you want a small amount (like 200mg) choose a higher capsule size like the #3. If you want a bigger amount choose a number closer to 0 or 00 our 000.

I used it put 2 kind of medicine together for feeding stray cats, simply put on top of can food, they ate it easily without forcing feed them.
No scent. The size is very small. I think kids of school age can already swallow them. They are smaller than gummy bears. There are a lot of them in the package
due to the unfortunate situation that my cat needs to take several medicines in tablet type. I have been tried with the pill-gun, hiding inside the treat, but all failed. came across from a user that feeding their cat a medicine in an empty capsule, and that way, the cat won't taste the medicine and easy to swallow. what a genius idea... I ordered it from iHerb as it was a reasonable price with faster delivery and the smallest size, and it was successful! my cat can't taste as it does not have a scent and easy to throw into her throat with a little bit of water. she didn't like as I grabbed her for feeding something forcefully but couldn't taste, so no complaint. a small thing to take note of that it's really too small for some medicine, and it has to be almost grinding to fit in.

the size is just perfect, as well as the contents of the capsule itself. some capsules are a bit taller or shorter than others, but that's not an issue for me. this size also perfectly fits to give medicines to pets. you can cut the edges to make it even smaller for your pet not to notice the capsule at all.
Goes well with my supplements. It's easy to cut if it's too big. A little bit sticky, but you get what you pay for.
