I bought this to try something new, aside from the nutrition. Texture is like a dry crumbly flake, and it sticks somewhat to things like salad. For me, it does not have a strong flavor. It tastes like a really mild version of an aged cheese, and it has a slight savory / umami quality, and not much of a salty flavor.

This is a super food. I’m amazed by the quality. I’ve tried another brands before and that’s so far the best quality I’ve found. I like to use it when cooking to give a cheesy taste to my recipes. That is something that I add to my diet and it’s really good because it’s a superfood.
I use nutritional yeast as an addition to egg dishes, vegetable soups, salad dressings, and pasta sauces. It enhances each of these meals without overpowering them and it doesn’t have that artificial or “processed” taste that some other yeast products tend to have.

Since I changed my diet as a flexitarian, I needed a substitution for B2 etc. Nutritional Yeast including this brand is much more expensive at the grocery shops in Riyadh, but iHerb has the best price. I also had a bit hard time for adding umami for cooking since alcohol is banned here. I'm really glad I bought this. I love the flavor!
