Very fine milled powder, quite easy to mix with water. I've used strong brew of hibiscus tea with ginger instead of water as suggested in the manual in order to get more red undertones. That's the effect you get on quite thin middle brown hair with some lighter strings from the sun. First photo is made in the sunlight.

I've been curious about henna hair colors for a while. But since I have dark brown hair, there isn't a lot of people with my hair color who try henna. Well let me tell you all that it worked great on my dark hair. I should warn you that indoors my hair has a slight redish hew. BUTTTT when I go outside I have dark ginger hair! Also I should mention that It's easy to use - the instruction are very clear and the box includes gloves and hair cover. Also the henna itself has the scent of green tea, so if you don't like it I suggest adding cinnamon, paprika or any essential oil. The left photo is before dying my hair and the right is after I dyed it with Light Mountain Bright Red.

I have been using this product for several years. The color is rich and it seems not fading at all. It makes my hair to look lustrous for several days. I do not have any allergy that I had with other products. It is easy to apply.

I tried the dark brown version of this product and was mostly satisfied. Tried this red version and will order this again. I have dark brown hair with greys. I had been lightening my hair since teen - and had orange/blonde hair for the last decade using Loreal hi-lites or Garnier lightener for dark hair. But got concerned with my age - thinning and environmental/health issues, so tried henna for the first time. The extra effort to process is worth it - my hair feels healthier and thicker. I like how the reddish highlights are deposited on my brown hair.

I jsut started using this henna for my hair and love its richness. I will say that my hair turns back quicker that the other one I used but i still like the rich color that it has. It is also natural and does not dry out my hair as much as the other one.

Been using Light Mountain henna for years for gray coverage, and they do work well. The results vary from time to time, but the color is pretty good at sticking, more or less.

This is the best henna for my hair. It gives me such a natural red color and doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp. It moisturizes my hair and really benefits it. The packaging is great and so is the composition as it contains no metallic salts. Lasts me three uses on my roots so a good size. Amazing quality.
