I purchased this flatware from Macy’s because their website advertises that it is made in Germany. However the company recently told me that none of their flatware is made in Germany so, that means Macy’s is lying to the consumer with false advertising and it’s deceptive!
So as I was counting them after washing there’s 2 double small fork I a package instead of one big and one small . How did they missed that ? Now I have to buy another one to make up for the missing count .
I loved the look of this silverware set but it was not functional at all. The handles were way to thin and the shape made it impossible to eat with.
The received items are completely different from the web pictures and description. It looks like someone swapped the whole cutlery set, especially since the packaging tape was cut. Please investigate.

Hello, I recently ordered six sets of Villeroy & Boch flatware from Macy’s, and I’ve noticed several quality issues. Two dinner knives have double-printed logos, three small spoons have dark gray marks and dents that won’t come off, and one small fork also has gray marks that do not clean off. Out of six sets, six individual utensils are with notable manufacturing flaws.
