Excellent stock pot that I've already used for pasta and stock. Also excellent for large pot of refried beans. Purchased to repalce older aluminum one that didn't work on induction top - this one works great on this surface.
I use this pot in a lot of different ways. Of course, for soups and spaghetti sauces but I've thrown a pot roast in it too. It's scratch resistant so I'm not limited to silicone spoons and spatulas.
High quality (worth the cost) easily cooks food, easy to clean! and maintains heat well.
After submitting a claim about the finish chipping off, Le Creuset doesn't want to honor the "Lifetime Warranty", very disappointing
I LOVE this pan. It cooks evenly and so easy to clean. I hand wash these. I bought pieces to replace my nonstick cookware. Don't know where I was when the Teflon alert came out. All of my pro enamel pots and pans are such a level above "regular " ones. You don't realize what your missing until you use them!! I Highly Recommend them!!
Received this as part of a set. Only the second use, no metal utensils used and only washed with a plastic oxo scrubber. Noticed to good sized scratches on bottom of pan. Obviously durability is not optimal despite the claims. I truly have enjoyed using the pans. But to scratch like this really concerns me.
Have had this set for over a year. We use the pans daily. The set is attractive and functional. We have been very diligent not to put in dishwasher or use metal utensils of any kind. The description claims that you can. Went to use pan yesterday and noticed that the coating is pitted and pocked on the bottom. Still love the pans, just a bit disappointed.
The handles on this pot are Not stay cool! They get just as hot as the pot. I have the fry pans in this line, those handles are stay cool.
