All-Clad Stainless Steel 12" Covered Fry Pan

I love the pan, hate the handle. Would’ve bought the Everyday D3 fry pan, but the slope is too straight and not gently curved like the regular D3. If All-Clad just flattened the handle a bit, the edges wouldn’t dig into my palm, causing me excruciating pain. I also don’t like the polished lid. I frankly don’t understand the point of that at all, and it’s a pain to wipe dry without causing streaks. The outside of the lid should have the same matte finish as the underside.

The all clad 10 inch skillet is a workhorse. I actually have two in my kitchen and I use at least one of them every day. Even cooking results, easy, clean, nothing like cooking on stainless steel. Highly recommend. I will say, though, purchasing it from the all clad website, shipping was slow. But that doesn’t take away from how good this pan is and everyone should have it in their kitchen

I already had a pair of non-stick All-Clad pans, 7 and 10 inch, but I needed something larger to use for browning meats for stews and roasts and such. This pan fits that bill perfectly, and it's much easier to handle than the large cast iron pan that I've been using for several years. Lighter, easier to pour off liquid, heats evenly, and doesn't require seasoning.

I've had various types of pans, different sizes, shapes, etc. But All-Clad will be my choice for life. High quality, durable, and these pans will always perform. This one is a D3 so be mindful of heating and dissipation.

I would have given this pan a 5 star but. I know this may be a dumb reason not to but hear me out. The lid handle gets way too hot. Cannot handle with your bare hands. Maybe this is common sense but I feel that they should of coated or wrapped silicone around the handle. I really did not want to have to wear an oven mitt just to uncover my food. Other than that... The pan is great!!

Why are you the only company using such an awful uncomfortable handle? Other than that the pan is fine.

These are top of the line stainless steel pans with lids and made in America! They're excellent to cook in and the food doesn't stick to the pan. I love these and have bought several including for both of my children. I will definitely buy these again.

Like the stainless steel. Heats quickly and evenly. More difficult to clean than a nonstick variety but probably healthier for us. Wish it had a glass lid. Handle on lid gets hot and have to use potholder to pick up.

These pans heat up so quickly and do exactly what I expect them to. The results are excellent and they are easy to clean. Can't wait to keep cooking with them!
