NutriBullet® NBF-50400 Blender

Bought the first Nutribullet Blender Combo many years ago to begin making smoothies. It offered the most features for the money. Today, hundreds of smoothies later, Nutribullet continues to make the best products at the best price. The parts are easy to wash. Have recommended the Nutribullet products to many people and will continue to purchase them. They're products last for years even if they are used daily.

Are the blades supposed too be sharp or not because I can run my finger on the blade and it won’t cut me

I wish you could use smaller container on this base . it would be great when us are making smaller portions

Absolutely disgusting and infuriating. The base design allows food to get trapped under the base holding the blades. That QUICKLY turns to rotting mold. WOW! That’s FOWL! The handle does this too, though I guess it’s not in contact with food if the rotting mold and sludgy build up is inside the handle. I guess that’s a pro? Now, based on the fact that I said the HANDLE I do hope you can deduct that I am referring to this countertop (not “personal” or “bullet”) style unit. The full sized 1200W unit. The blades are mounted on an elevated bottom which creates a CLEAR AND OBVIOUS suction which turns into a giant air gap. Do you enjoy listening to an extremely loud unit blend a gigantic air gap leaving your food chunky and separated? Then this is the blender for you! The only solution is to add THREE TIMES THE LIQUID that is required to make the exact same thing using a Ninja blender. Mmmm mildly chunky liquid. Delish. Returned, kept the Ninja, would never buy something from this brand and highly recommend you don’t either. My kids and I use a blender (counter top, personal, and immersion) multiple times a week if not daily. There’s NO CHANCE I would subject them to sloppy chunky mold laced smoothies.

The blender has a gap between the black blade base and the actual clear blender jug. The blender can not be taken apart for cleaning. Things get stuck in the gap and it is impossible to clean effectively. You have to grab tooth pick or pins and manually fish things out. That doesn’t work all the time and the gunk build up and molds over time. I use this for smoothies and stuff like flax seeds, nuts and fruit particles end up there all the time. I would not recommend this blender for anyone. I will be throwing mine away and getting a replacement.

It has stopped working. I lock in the pitcher and press an option, but nothing happens. Tried cleaning the sensors that depress when you lock in the top, but still nothing. Fortunately, my mother's 50-year old Osterizer still works like a champ. Why do we have such expensive crap now?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In awe of this blender and the versatility! First of all it’s bigger than I imagined, and way bigger than the one I had previously! The 1200 watt motor is powerful and blends with ease. The 64 oz pitcher is perfect for whipping up a batch of fun drinks for multiple people, and the 32 oz is great for smaller portions. I absolutely love the to-go lids and the cup with the handle, as I love taking drinks with me on the go! I’ve been looking forward to making my smoothies every day because it’s so easy now with this blender. Even cleaning this blender and the attachments is easier than with my last blender. The options are endless, really. Can’t wait to use it for soup next!

It is very powerful and only takes a few pulses to blend everything up. This is functional, easy to use and has safety functions where it won’t turn on unless it is securely in place.
