Cuisinart CPT-180 Classic 4-Slice Toaster

This looks so good on my counter and it works great

It was time to replace my old Cuisinart toaster. I bought this one and it is substandard. It is small and very poor quality. Don’t waste your money.

We bought this a month ago after our old toaster did not pop up the toast well. This is stylish and very functional! We love it.

It’s a little cheaper construction than our last cuisinart toaster So far it seems to work ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two Cusinart 4 slice toasters and both performed exceptionally well when using toasting options. The only improvement I would like to see is quality (weight) of toaster as the 2011 model (which is the same). Also, older toaster could be interrupted if toasting getting too dark by pushing up on spring-not so with new model though effectively same model as purchased before.

This toaster is not as functional as I had hoped. It's fine for store bought bread. But when I toast homemade sourdough bread, which needs a little more time, it pops up untoasted. Then the toaster will not work after the initial toasting. It must be temperature regulated, but it's frustrating, because no matter what I do this toaster does NOT work on homemade bread.
