Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eye Shadow Primer

Please change this back to the squeeze tube. This is the best product ever. However the problem is it's very difficult to tell when you're about to run out because you can't see how much is left. It's also somehow more dry than it used to be when it was in the Squeeze tube. Also the applicator is not useful because you still have to use your fingers to spread it over your eyelids evenly.

I have used this product for years and love the way it manages the oil on my lids and allows my eye shadow to stay on without creasing all day!

I've repurchased this primer because the formula is genuinely excellent — it keeps my eyeshadow locked in place all day, whether I'm dealing with normal wear or extreme heat/humidity. No creasing, no fading, no fallout. On performance alone, this is a 5-star product. But the new packaging has been a real letdown. This is my second purchase, and both times the lid has cracked and broken — even with careful opening, closing, and application. I really miss the old squeeze tube; it was sturdy and never gave me issues. I want to keep buying this, but the packaging failures are making me reconsider. Please bring back the squeeze tube, or fix the lid design — the formula deserves better packaging.

This primer was my holy grail, I probably purchased over 10 tubes in my time using it. I tried the doe foot applicator version once and have never repurchased. Leaving a comment now because I periodically check to see if it has been changed back, and am always disappointed! The squeeze component was more slim lined, you had more control on the amount that you used, and it lasted longer. Not to mention the new tube just falls apart... I have still, after years, not found a product that I liked better than this in the squeezy tube. Such a disappointment.

I just purchased my second tube of the new version of Shadow Insurance, at Ulta. The new, tube packaging with applicator has ruined the application experience, of the product. It is difficult to use and feels much drier. The prior version was quick and easy to apply--virtually foolproof. This applicator can also leave splotches, where too much product is dispensed by the wand, leaving the user to still need to smooth the product with their fingertips. I thought i would gamble on purchasing my once favorite product again, but to my dismay, it still disappoints. Please bring back the prior version. The packaging was smaller too and better for travel. I am sad that I need to find a different product to replace this. In the past, I recommended it to all. People were amazed to see me emerge from my swimming pool with my eyeshadow still in place, thats how good this was. I think the company should take note of the numerous like-minded reviews of this product, not just here, but other sites. Your decades long customers have spoken up.

I loved the old product in a tube and was a die heart loyalist. The new wand dispenser is horrible. The consistency has changed, it's difficult to get out of the cylinder, doesn't apply well, is sometimes watery and overall doesn't work. I'm on the hunt for a new product from a different company.

I love this product, but every time I buy it, the cover breaks. You should challenge some of your engineers on packaging concepts — it's just not normal.

I used it a few times and it’s already empty and dry. Not recommend!

This is the best eye primer I've used but the old packaging needs to come back. Like many of the other reviews this new packaging is horrible. Produce dried out and the lid cracks. Thought it was a fluke but it happened again and I came here to see if it's just me but no. Going to switch to something else until I see a change has been made. I hoping for it!

I have been a faithful user of this product for years. I started using it because I was gifted a small sample of it, and that sample lasted me for over a year with regular use. It's been my holy grail ever since. The product now comes in a bottle with a doe foot applicator, and it's much harder to get the product out of the bottle and it dried up very fast. I didn't even get a year's use out of this, when normally it last over a year (and even my small sample lasted over a year). I don't know if the product has dried up or there is much less present in the bottle now, but I'm not going to spend almost $30 on it now.
