Perfect size for oven mitts—not too long yet protect my wrists. They grip very well, with the top side very soft and flexible giving me excellent control. My favorite feature is the split on the end which allows two or three fingers on each side so the that I can securely grip pot lids, oven shelf, etc. Insulation is perfect without gloves being bulky. Love the oval shape too! Definitely recommend.

I previously bought KA Asteroid hot pads, also used for taking pots out of a hot oven. The pads were not sufficient enough to prevent the strong heat from coming through. Foolishly, I thought perhaps the Pot Holders (Gloves) set would be different. After nearly dropping a dish on 2 different nights bringing it out of the oven and to the kitchen table (hands in mitts, heat came right through), the mitts were thrown away. Learned my lesson: shop in person for stuff like this.
I had to replace my old ones, these are perfect size and thickness. I laundered them and laid flat to dry.

I chose the honey orange color since I have a similar accent color in my kitchen and they matched perfectly with the mitts! Overall these mitts were beautiful and stylish and did a pretty good job handling hot pots and pans. I like that the rubber grips consist of small dot patterns and that the orange color is so bright and bold. My only issue with the mitts is that they are a bit too thin for my liking. I can’t hold hot items straight out of the oven for too long before I start feeling the burn. It just may be me since I have heat sensitive hands though.

They are made of quality material and have a slit for any size hand to fit. On the back side small rubber grippers to ensure pans will not slip out of your hands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like oven mitts or one of the things you do not buy very often and you don’t necessarily realize how dirty or how much you need a new pair. So I got these in the mail tossed out my old ones and use them right away getting dinner out of the oven. They’re very comfortable on the hand I didn’t get any heat transfer from the oven and they seem to stay fairly clean. I would recommend the KitchenAid ran to anyone shopping for kitchen essentials!

The hand pocket makes these the perfect hybrid of a potholder and an oven mitt. They give me good grip and heat protection without being big and cumbersome. Highly recommend!
