Presto® 5420 FryDaddy® electric deep fryer

Works great. I bought it for a Birthday present for my husband.

Love it, but wish I could adjust the temperature Can get very hot and burn food…

Had one before and liked it. However wasn’t happy that it was shipped in its box and now put into a shipping box. This happened before with an order from Macys. Will think twice the next time when need to order something. It sure will not be at Macys. Also it was $10 more expensive than other retailers. That was a shame on me!!! Check other retailers first.

Wasn't what I was Looking for. Too Small.

I really wanted this lil thing to be it but unfortunately I had to return it as it has no lid and oil would’ve been all over the place. The lid it comes with is rubber and it states not to use while frying lol obviously.

I tried the recipe in the manual, using one egg and 1/2 cup of milk. Once the wings were cooked, I sprinkled slap your mama seasoning on them. They tasted great. I let the fryer cool off over night. Then I strained the grease into a bowl, using a strainer to drain the dripings at the bottom of the fryer. Then, I put the grease back in the fryer. I wanted to try this size fryer, before I bought the GranPappy fryer.

Was too small and didn’t have a basket

I have a fry daddy that I have had for about 10 years and it is still working. My daughter wanted one for her birthday so I decided to purchase one for her and a backup for me. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. Don’t let this handy cooker get away! It’s a perfect size.

A bit smaller than I expected. However, it is overall a good product.
