Cuisinart FP-130 Core Custom 13-Cup Food Processor

This food processor is consistent and powerful. I like the quality of it’s design. It is my indispensable product when cooking. I really recommend having one at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only positive about this machine is its lightweight. It took over a week to figure out how to get the lid off and I’m still not sure. Assembly directions, forget. The dough blade, on the other hand doesn’t feel secure at the bottom. It is not a long-term machine because I will get rid of it. Hopefully, it works in the short term.

I use this processor every day - except Sunday, my day "off". I beat the crap out of this machine. Shredding and pulverizing lacinato kale by the crammed fistfuls, beets through the shredder disc and pulverized below - I have actually destroyed a shredder disc doing this in anger one too many times. Must be more gentle. I lose my temper in the kitchen easily and take it out on the machines. I think that Cuisinart - pronounced "Cousin Art" around here to lighten the mood - despite the reviews comparing it to earlier model build quality, makes a fine, robust appliance. I am getting another one, and relegating the "old" one as insurance/backup, because I cannot be without a food processor for even one day. My wife requires daily fresh vegan fare, which I, poor soul, am duty-bound to provide.

My second Cuisinart ever! Amazingly, my first one is coming up on 30 years old. It actually still worked, but it was time to replace it as it had turned pretty yellow from its original white and the blade was no longer super sharp. But it was still a workhorse. If you want to know my thoughts... first, I think of it as a Cuisinart, not a food processor. To me, Cuisinart is synonymous with food processors. I know there are other brands... but I can't imagine even considering them. Second, this is hands down my favorite appliance. My old one had just the blade. This one came with a dicer and slicer attachment, and is just an absolute joy to use!

Works well and very easy to set up and use. It is a bit heavy otherwise I'm glad I bought it.

This processor performs as advertised. I have made pizza dough chop vegetables and shredded cheese. It is so easy to clean as well and the looks is good enough to leave on display on my counter.I could not be happier with my purchase for a reasonable price.

The Core Custom 10 Cup Food Processor is just perfect! The stackable disc system is so convenient & a great space-saver. The bowl is easy to lock, unlock & it cleans up in the dishwasher. The material is clearer and stronger than older models. Plus, since it lacks a center hole, it's so much easier to empty without making a mess.
