Joico Defy Damage Protective Conditioner, 33.8 oz

I’ve purchased the set - shampoo and conditioner. It also came with 2 free goodies I really like the shampoo. I have thin highlighted hair It doesn’t way my hair down or make it greasy fast and I love the scent. Now for the conditioner! I’ve only used it twice. It seems to do the job but I can’t get past the scent It smells like either mold or moth balls. I’m not sure if I ended up with an old product! But for the shampoo to smell so lovely and the conditioner so bad I’m confused!!! Since there are no other reviews I can’t compare it to see if other people have the same issue
