Amethyst (4/5 ct. t.w.) & Rose De France (3/4 ct. t.w.) Swirl Ring in Sterling Silver (Also available in Garnet, Pink Sapphire & Blue Topaz)

the red stones were too small and didn't really give the look I wanted.

I bought this for our daughters birthday, and she is thrilled with it.

In the past, I have bought several ‘Fine Jewelry’’ Rings from Macy’s, (Diamonds and Gemstone Rings). I was extremely disappointed in this and in the process of returning it. It does not sparkle or dazzle. The appearance of the stones are dull.

Not so much as pictured. The darker purple in the photograph is not dark purple on the ring. The ring reads more pink than purple. It might look more like this in a dark movie theater. That being said, there’s a slight bit of color change between the middle and outer bands of stones. The stones are consistent in color, even though they don’t really match the photo, they’re consistent with the given color. If you’re in for a pink / lilac, this is for you. If you want that darker amethyst look, skip this one.

The ring is quite beautiful. The stones are small, but it seems to be a well made ring. My wife really liked her Valentine's Day gift.

The ring is beautiful but it was not as bright and darker than I was expecting in person. I also got the wrong size so that made the choice to return an easy one but had it been the correct size, I may have kept even though it was a very dark (like almost black on the outer amethyst parts) ring.

The shape of the ring is quite lovely and feels like it would be comfortable to wear. My only meh, if that is ring is not vibrant at all. Clearly this photo seems to be taken after a “shine” cleaner was used and dynamic lights that would make an 80 year old look 50. Don’t get me wrong, it’s lovely in a way. I’d recommend the blue or topaz one, as the amethyst (which I got) is dark and muted. It’s not sapphires, clearly, but the photo is misleading - as the product doesn’t hold nearly that shine. It’s a shame really as the shape is what drew me to the ring.

I have been totally happy with this ring. It's comfortable to wear and is gorgeous.
