Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer

Quality is questionable, the old model we had felt better quality

i didnt use it the first two weeks as i had an older unit of the same model in black and the paint was coming off after four years. i purchased the stainless steel model and baked yesterday for te first time a pie and a cake using the bake mode. the buzzer went off at the et 350 and i baked the item for the listed time. the pie was not finished and i had to add time twice. finally requester an oven timer frm my son who came today with the new item. it confirmed that the oven after fifteeen minutes only reached 275 degrees....not the 350 degrees it was set for!! defective!!

It works fine so far, however since it’s an actual toaster replacement that lived for 21 years, the Breville oven is slow to toast like 6 minutes for brown on one side! I also found that roasting veggies like broccoli pieces it took much longer then my built in GE monogram that’s 20 years old. Yes I had to wait less time for the preheat function on the Breville but not much. Our main need for purchase was to get a toaster replacement that did more. I’ve yet to try the air fryer will it be good enough to turn frozen into crispy?

This is impressive, preheats quickly and cools down quickly as well. So far everything I’ve cooked, toasted or Air Fried has been wonderful. I received this as a birthday gift and Wow in the Arizona heat it keeps my kitchen cooler and I can cook.

Works well. Came with a dent in the top which did not happen in transit since the outer and inner shipping materials showed no signs of damage or careless handling.

I'm still learning the settings....I never had an air fryer before.

More expensive than expected due to Breville not honoring sale price with discount resulting from a failed product. Middle rack extends when door is opened but must be manually returned and this is difficult when hot. Area behind the handle gets very hot and results in burned knuckles unless heat pad is used. Makes good pizza but it is difficult to just add a little more time. Looks good on counter.

I've had the Smart Oven Air Fryer for a couple of weeks now and have used most of the settings. It exceeds at everything it can do. It's super efficient and surprisingly quiet. I am so happy with my purchase and cannot recommend it enough.

I've baked, air-fried, reheated meals. The appliance is becoming easier to use as I use it more. It is very convenient to replace using a big oven. I prefer a toaster for toast. Some tasks are still performed by microwave and stove top.

Excellent over with air fry option. Can never go wrong with a Breville.
