I wanted black flatware and decided to go with Macy’s thinking the quality would be better than something I could find at HomeGoods. I was sorely mistaken. Other flatware I purchased from Macy’s has lasted me years this set, I’m ready to replace in less than one. I have pieces that the black has completely come off of, not to mention the water spots are ridiculous. They never look clean. Please save your money.
Starts out black and then ends up silver and black just shortly after a few washes. Terrible.

This flatware set is absolute junk. Purchased 8 months ago and almost all of the black satin finish has worn of from daily wear and dishwasher cleaning. And of course, can't be returned after 30 days and no original packaging. Should have never replaced my old set that I had for four years. Don't learn the hard way. Stay away from these!! They don't even deserve one star.
The specifications from Macys website says the is 18/10 the quality of the product, however in the box it doesn’t say is a 18/10 and the quality of it doesn’t feel like it is ether. Some of the utensils came scratch
Writing this review after about 1 year of use. As others have stated, these have ended up looking terrible and have lost nearly all of their "black satin" finish. Unfortunately, the wear isn't even and most have streaks and spots of silver. Just stay away.
So far I have had these for about a month and they get washed in our dishwasher every night. The finish is holding up really well and these are surprisingly heavy. We absolutely love them and I hope the finish stays.
You probably shouldn’t state that they’re 18/10 stainless when they’re NOT. I was very disappointed to learn from the manufacturer’s website that they’re actually 18/0. I don’t think I would have ordered if I knew this; I really wanted the higher rating on my everyday silverware.
The knives have already started to show corrosion once they come out of the dish washer.
the silverware was a shower gift. It's very nice looking and strong, but not heavy.
