Whynter Stainless Steel Built-In Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this smaller unit ice maker and it is performing as advertised. Ice bucket fills up in a day. Cubes are good size.

We live in a rural area, far from grocery stores, so an ice maker is a must. We love this one from Whtnter. The shape of the ice is great, it doesn't melt as fast as the usual sharp-edged crescent shape ones do. It's very efficient and not terribly noisy. A great purchase!

Great for keeping ice built up for what I need it for

I had bought this same model many years ago and needed another one and was lucky enough to find this one still available. I received it within my expectations and it works great.

Purchased this ice maker for a high volume area and it works like a charm!

We have had this unit for 9 years and it is still knocking ice out and performing beautifully. I change an inline filter on it annually and I defrost it on a shut down scale 2x a year. For the money - you will not beat this unit. 3-4 friends of mine that have built new homes and/or bars bought the exact unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for just over a week and I could tell very quickly that it is operating much better than our EdgeStar ice maker. Very cold, temp averages around 0 degrees F.

We have had this ice maker for at least 8 years in constant operation and it still works like a dream. We never have to buy ice to go camping - the tub of ice is perfect. It doesn't matter HOW much you spend on a high end refrigerator those ice cue makers NEVER work - so this is our solution and everyone who comes to our house and uses it for drinks writes down the model to order one for themselves. I'm going to order an extra tub to swap out and stick in our fancy - useless freezer box in our upstairs fridge to get even more use out of it

We bought this in 2016. We were hoping to get at least 2 years of use. Much to my happy surprise it is still going strong - 5 years later. The only maintenance I have done is to defrost the freezer and clear any ice stuck/frozen where it drops out. It gets quite the work out too! Family of 5 with many friends & family get togethers. Extremely happy with this! I was on the website looking for info about the water turn on/valve thingy - when all of the sudden it kicked back on! YAY! I was afraid it might be time for a new one, but it is still making ice.
