Did Not Last a Year
Didn't use it that often but had a few things I enjoyed cooking with it. Tonight I plugged it in to make some fries, it heated up, the light went off and 2 minutes later when I went to add the fries it was dead. We did the reset and still nothing. Purchased on March 10, 2024. Very disappointed for the amount of money I spent.

Died after 16 months
Fryer worked fine 5 days ago. Went to preheat today and will not reach 200F. The red heating indicator stays illuminated and never turns off. Bought the unit 16 months ago, and of course the warranty is 12 months. I have owned multiple Presto cooking appliances that have lasted years, not months. If this fryer is indicative of the Presto brands current level of quality, then I am done purchasing their products.

Deep fryer
Love this deep fryer! It heats up really quickly, fries food really nicely and doesn't make a mess at all.

Good fryer!
I have used and owned this deep fryer for a long time, and it never disappoints me, it does take a lot of oil but you can reuse it several times as long as you strain the oil!

LOVE IT AND CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!
Enormous power. It perfectly deep fries everything to perfection like a 5 star restaurant. I basically tried frying everything from veggies to all kind of meat with and without batter. They all came out crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside, especially fried chicken. Wish it was bigger. Can only fry 2 chicken thighs at a time or 1 fish filet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. DON'T LIVE WITHOUT IT
