I bought this about 3 months ago and have used it multiple times. The design of this is TERRIBLE. The on off button is literally RIGHT WHERE YOU PLACE YOUR HAND. I am CONSTANTLY having to turn the iron back on. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.
I purchased this iron 6 months ago and now it does not eat up anymore. Very disappointed
I would love the iron with 2 exceptions. The S on the sole plate keeps ending up on my fabric and won’t iron out. The other thing is that my hand keeps sliding up and turning off the iron.
I have had my Singer Steam Craft iron for about 3 years now. I was happy that it heated up fast and was good for getting wrinkles out of cotton. I had to return my first one because when I was using it without steam it kept changing to the red mode light and didn't stay heated up. My second one did the same thing. Now it isn't working at all. ALL of lights (wool, linen, cotton, silk and linen)are flashing green and it doesn't work at all. For an iron that was so expensive it should last much longer than 3 years. I would not recommend it at all.
Iron works well! The steam is awesome. However, I had to replace the original iron I purchased and just made it in time to fall under the one year warranty. The replacement came without issue and now just 30 days past the year manufacturers warranty the same exact issue has occurred, the burst of steam button broke!

The steam button is broken. Apparently this is a common issue with this model. Unfortunately I was given the iron a couple of years ago and do not have the receipt.
I really like this iron, especially being able to see the water level. My previous (10-year-old, probably) Singer had a water reservoir that was very hard to tell the level on. I love the needle nose point that can get anywhere. The only thing is I have a little thumb issue and sometimes I have to use more pressure than I'd like to get the steam. Overall, works fantastically!! Love the mint green color, too - had to get a new ironing board cover to class it up, haha.
The best Iron I’ve ever owned
The iron works very well. Heats up quick and holds temperature. The selector button has not been an issue with me, as others have noted. Like the tip as well for detail.
