NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette - I Know That's Bright

I bought the I Know That's Bright variant of this product, and it makes sense on paper, and I WANT to love it. I also LOVE the colors in it, but ONLY NOTICED WHEN I GOT HOME that some of the pigments I REALLY want to use can't be used on the eyes (I understand the utility of having an eyes-cheek/blush palette, but who is out here putting this dark, bright shimmery purple color on their face?). Who asked for this? I'll still use it because the eyeshadow colors ARE quite lovely, but I also wish the "face" pans were a little bigger so I could actually use a blush brush to apply them. I just wish I'd noticed it wasn't a full eye palette before buying it.

What the? Where am I supposed to use the “face” colors? The vague “temples and cheeks” doesn’t cut it. A complete waste of material. Even in my most tasteless teenage angst I would not have used this except at Halloween. Luckily the rest of the colors are nice, but this won’t be my go to. Why put pans that are suspect next to colors that go on your eye area? This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The colors are beautiful. But, the colors I really wanted are not usable for eyes, they are face pigments. Half the palette is face pigments. The colors that are face pigment only and cannot be used near eyes should be identified in the pictures too. This is a marketing error. Its only described in the written language. The palette is also not labeled an eye and face palette in the title. Most shoppers dont read that far into the written description.

I have been enjoying my new eye shadows they are so vibrant.

This eyeshadow palette has the most beautiful and pigmented eyeshadows that I’ve ever had. Plus they last on the lid all day!! The variety of colors it offers can create fun looks or even just simple little nude looks. The glitter eyeshadows aren’t gritty or fall off, they almost have a buttery like feel to them. The colors blend out really well and are so soft.

I love the size, perfect in my makeup case. The brown colors are my favorite and this palette has warm neutral colors. The best is cruelty free and vegan formula. Love every time o have to make up the texture is smooth and make my look so natural 🥰
