Cons: 1. The air filter lasted 9 months. I'd usually have it on when I get home from work, almost always on auto. I didn't expect 5 years, but 1/5 of the advertised lifetime is disappointing. 2. The bottom rotating lid/door for filter access does not click or snap shut or anything. It is very, very prone to opening whenever you move the purifier. Other reviewers mention this. It's more annoying than it sounds. 3. Figuring out the replacement filter situation should be easier. Here's my free advice to Shark: the ease of figuring out replacement filters should be a selling point. Pros: 1. Seems to do its job, especially with smells. It does have a scent packet thing, but it runs out quickly and in my opinion isn't needed. If I were willing to spend the money, I'd get the scent refills. I hate strong scents to the point that I think kitchens should be separate buildings, but this scent is well made. 2. Very simple, straightforward interface and controls. No ridiculous app to download or a maze of menus to scroll through. No complicated set up. Just plug and go. I'm giving it 2 stars because they should be more realistic about the 5 year claim, and the bottom filter lid needs to be fixed. Other than that, I'm happy with it and don't regret purchasing it at all. I personally, would rather have a rectangle shaped purifier and I wouldn't put the output vents directly on top. If something falls into the top vents, it's pretty much stuck in there even if you turn the purifier upside down and try to shake it out. You will hear the tiny crunching rattling sound when the fan spins.

I’m so impressed with the Shark NeverChange air filter. I bought it for my small litter room since I have 3 cats. It definitely helps with the smells and keeping their air fresh and clean in my home. I love the mesh filters on the side to protect the main filter from dust, hair and pet fur. It’s easy to use and perfect for the home. The noise is pretty quiet, even on the max speed it just sounds like a fan. I highly recommend this air filter! I definitely will be getting another one in the future! It helps with my allergies as well!

I bought this a month ago and we can already tell a difference! A must have especially if you have pets! It’s quiet, helps filter out the smell from cooking in our open concept house. Plus my favorite part is not having to spend money on a new filter every 6 weeks!!
When it works it's good but half the time it's on 0% because it's sensors are clogged. Just bought and it's on 0% about 90% of the time and I constantly have to reset it or "blow it out" even though there's nothing there to blow out. I bought this because the reviews were so good and I'v had nothing but issues. Save your money because it's not worth the crash out or cash out.

I am on my 3rd unit because the other two didn't last 6 months. Now the 3rd one just quit working. We clean the filters as required. This is junk. DO NOT BUY !!
This is a warranty replacement after the previous unit died. It was resolved promptly and the new unit arrived within days. It certainly helps with my allergies. I have two, one in th e bedroom and one in the living room. I am grateful it’s quiet enough to use while sleeping. Each does a great job of covering the room.
Works pretty good. It’s an air purifier not sure if it completely purifies the air or not but it’s full of dog hair and dust when I clean it so it must be working. I suppose I could say I wish it would purify the air in my house 100% but that wouldn’t be realistic now would it. I would buy another because it’s got a pretty good size filter footprint compared to others out there.
Easy and friendly user machine with compact size that can fit any small space. Convenient maintenance by simply replace the air filter once every few months. Highly recommended.
