Le cruset sends a tea kettle and a week later wants a review. We have purchased at least 6 of these over the years. Every one rusts around the orifice where lid goes. Each one also has its own ideosyncrancies with the lid fit. Still we buy them as my wife likes the color. As far as function, dont buy this. If color is everything to you, go for it.

It’s so cute and gets the job done
I would’ve gave it five stars, but the whistle on the kettle is very low and if you’re in another room, you will not hear it. it’s a smaller kettle, which is good for me. It won’t be so heavy… I bought the sea salt. It is a beautiful color perfectly matches my kitchen. I just received it so I only used it twice. Hopefully it holds up better than my last tea kettle and for the price it should.
My wife quit drinking coffee and started drinking tea in the morning. I bought her this kettle and she loves it.
It looks so cute, and the color is sunny. It looks like drop of sun.
I bought oyster color and i like it. The size is perfect for me. I was worried about the handle design but it is sturdy. I’m following directions that came with it so it lasts longer. The whistle is somewhat faint, but it’s there.
