The item was delivered in very minimal packaging, with no protective cushioning, and was placed directly in a plastic bag. As a result, the mesh arrived badly bent and deformed. It is still usable, but the shape remains permanently distorted.
Macys shipped a stainless steel strainer is a plastic bag. Received this item flat as a pancake. Are you kidding? Needed this item ASAP for a recipe I was making. Now I have to get in my vehicle and drive 20 miles round trip to the local retail store to purchase a replacement. Who do you have working in the shipping department at Macys that would put a stainless steel strainer in a plastic bag for shipping?
