Looking for a classic design watch, as a gift and needing it to not be dependent on a battery that will only last a year or so, this watch fits that billing. And because it is "eco drive" that means that any light, regardless of how bright or dim, will continue to power this watch. If you are looking for a watch that is well made, well designed and not gaudy, then Citizen likely has your watch waiting. The weight of this watch is also something to consider too, as some women, which this was a gift for, don't want a heavy watch, and this one is actually pretty light, compared to those watches that I have. A major plus in this case. I am very satisfied!

the watch came without instructions. I don't know how to change the date on the watch.

I love everything except the band has to be sized and I haven't had time to go to the store to do that.

I had one of these and it lasted over 10 years. I got one very similar and the price was lower at macys than the citizen website! I will have the the band adjusted to fit me.
