The Moisturizing Fresh Cream for Clarity and Firming, 30 ml

While I loved the other moisturizers in the La Mer line, I did find that they tended to be too heavy for use for me, no matter how small I made the application size. When I got a sample of the Fresh Cream, I was excited to see that it was a lighter texture and seemed to still have all of the properties the original and soft cream products had that made them special. It has become my standard moisturizer for night use - it is more intense than the emulsion lotion I prefer during the day, but not as heavy as some of the night creams that don't work well for me.

This cream applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. It's made for oilier skin. Feels siliconey. The smell is powdery kind of reminds me of an older ladies home and it lingers for a bit. The price of this cream is pretty expensive. I don't know if I would pay this much personally for it. There are a lot of ingredients in this cream. The top ingredient is yeast. It is not at all greasy and I almost wanted to touch my face after applying it. I have a very sensitive skin and it worked wonderfully for me. I applied it in the morning bnefore going to work and it held up all day without me needing to reapply.

I've been meaning to try La Mer to compare it with Augustinus Bader. This creme is very good with hydration, a little goes a long way and it leaves my skin soft and supple. Perfect for winter season.
