La Mer The Calming Lotion Cleanser, 200 ml

I have used this cleanser for over 4 years . I am disappointed at the new repackaging. The new pump and straw are terrible. It gets stuck. The straw is bigger so you are giving us less product now as well. Moreover the luxurious signature scent is no longer there. That itself was an experience i enjoyed. Nownit smells weird and dull. For the amount of money spent on this product, you let down a-lot of loyal customers .

I think it is so silly to see consumers that don't know how to open containers?! This product is so nice, it's gentle and I think is cleansing my face to heaven! La Mer is always nice how could you ever detest it?!

Everything about it - soothing, calming-gets rid of redness, cleansing - light and leaves no residual buildup on skin and I’ve noticed fine lines have virtually disappeared. I’m almost 64 and it’s a miracle worker! Highly recommend.

Skin feels better immediately

Everything about this cleanser disappointed me. First, the dispenser pump did not work. All this money and the cheap plastic pump was broken in the box. Second, the scent! I use several products from La Mer, and they are lightly and pleasantly scented. This had an overwhelming scent like a cheap shower gel from the grocery store. No joke, my sinuses started clogging up every time I used it! If you are at all scent intolerant, or "sensitive" this is NOT the cleanser for you. Given the strong scent I am very hesitant to order any other cleansing product. So strange, considering all their moisturizing, serums, etc really are lightly and pleasantly scented.

This cleanser is very effective and rinses clean. However, the pump does not work, and so I have to take the top off, pull out the pump and drizzle a bit in my hands to use. Again, the PUMP DOES NOT WORK!

The La Mer Energizing Gel Cleanser is hands-down the best cleanser I've ever used. As a man in my mid-30s who has battled adult acne for over 20 years, this product, along with the Fresh Crème, has completely transformed my skin. The light fragrance is pleasant, it lathers beautifully with just a small amount, and most importantly, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or stripped. Since switching to La Mer, my acne has almost completely cleared—no joke! These products are worth the investment; the quality and results speak for themselves. Highly recommend!

Since La Mer Cleansing Oil was discontinued, I called La Mer Customer Service and they recommended me The Calming Lotion Cleanser and I decided to give it a try. I am using all the La Mer products in my skincare regimen, so I didn't want to add something new that was not from La Mer. What a surprise!! This product is terrible since it doesn't clean my face and eye area like the Cleansing Oil I've been using. I have to use many cotton pads with La Mer Miscellar Cleanser to have my face and eyes clean. It doesn't remove well mascara and eye liners. Also the pump feels so cheap. It is very disappointing that La Mer discontinues such a great product and have nothing similar to replace it. Instead of going forward, it goes backwards. Saaad.

This new formula is very drying. Does not remove make up as well either. Love love love the old formula! Very disappointed.
