Calphalon Premier Space-Saving Hard-Anodized Nonstick 1.5-Quart Sauce Pan with Lid

Just recieved my sauce pan. The lid does not sit properly. very disappointed

I was very hesitant to spend this kind of cash on a pan. I finally bit the bullet and purchased this one. Nearly all my cookware and Toaster Oven are Calphalon. This sauce pan has made a world of difference in how nearly anything turns out. It's dense material and ability to retain heat and perfect temp control makes it well worth it

Excellent cooking and easy cleanup. The lid is flat with a handle that overlaps the pot handle. Great for stacking but a bit of a pain when putting in dishwasher - takes up more space than a conventional pot lid.

Because of additional piece with rivets makes it heavier and harder to clean than similar Calphalon sauce pans. Not sure what the purpose of this piece is apart from stacking. If this is the case, I think the cons outweigh the pros.

I love my Caphalon stackable pot set. Very heavy, excellent quality and love the stackable feature. Just trying to find more pieces here and there to increase my set. Highly recommend these.

The Calphalon Premier Space-Saving Sauce Pan is one of the most practical pans I’ve used. The hard-anodized nonstick surface is truly durable and makes cooking and cleaning effortless. Heat distribution is even, so food cooks perfectly without hot spots. I love the compact, space-saving design, especially for small kitchens. The size is ideal for sauces, soups, or quick meals, and the included lid fits securely. It feels sturdy, high-quality, and definitely worth the investment

This Pot was replacement for a worn out one same size.

I ordered this smaller saucepan because only larger saucepans are included in the cookware set I purchased. With the first 1.5qt pan, the lid didn’t fit the pan as a previous reviewer noted. That pan was returned. The replacement pan arrived with the lid fitting the pan but the pan itself had deep scratches/gouges on two sides of the pan obviously from the factory. For several days Macys hesitated sending me another replacement because they said, and I quote, I “might get another defective pan.” After some discussion, a replacement pan was sent. The third pan arrived and seems ok. So it took me three pans to get one where the lid fit and the pan wasn’t damaged. These pans are not cheap and I seriously question the quality and integrity of Caphalon at this point. I would highly suggest that if someone is considering buying a set of cookware, look for another brand.

First pan (reviewed under CharlotteAnn) the lid did not fit the pan. Macys sent a replacement. This time the lid fits but the pan itself is gouged / damaged on both sides of the pan. The box itself was not damaged in shipping and this is obviously a factory defect, again. And, hey Caphalon, you apologized for my awful Caphalon customer experience with my set of pans issue from my previous review and asked that I reach out so you could make it right. So I did. Three times. And I’ve heard nothing back.
