Citizen Eco-Drive Unisex Disney Donald Duck Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch 40mm Gift Set

I am a "watch guy" and a big Donald Duck fan. The Donald Duck 90th Anniversary Watch by Citizen checks both boxes more than I could have anticipated from having read the description of the watch and having seen the accompanying pictures on the site. As a Donald Duck fan (he is #1, you know), I love the whimsical cartoon on the dial featuring "Devil Donald" wreaking havoc by pulling off the "1" and turning upside-down the "3" and the "4" on the face. Devil Donald seems to be whispering "Destroy the watch!" into Donald's left ear while "Angel Donald" tries to get his attention and seems to be whispering "Don't destroy the watch!" in his right ear. Donald is stuck in the middle at the 6 o'clock position with a shrug in wonderment of which way to go. A classic cononundrum and I love it! As a watch fan, I am thrilled that Citizen has given this watch a date window and is powered by Eco-Drive. That this watch never needs a battery is a wonderful feature for this watch guy who also owns an Oyster Perpetual 39mm watch. Speaking of, I was pleasantly surprised that this Citizen timepiece has a 40mm dial and a bracelet whose weight is substantial; features that should be there for a watch of this price point but aren't always. My final "pleasant surprise" was catching this timepiece at a great price from Macys.com and then taking the newly-delivered watch and receipt of payment to my nearest Macy's store where it was sized at no additional charge. Natalia, at the store, took great care to ensure the perfect fit. Five stars, all around!
