Samsonite Better Than Basic 19" Drop Bottom Weekender Duffel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is gorgeous. Very well made with enough pockets and a place to put your shoes. I will be better organized too. I love that it has feet on the bottom ( makes it look classy. The color is nice like a neutral purple beige. I love that it has a trolley band to put on your carryon. This is my second Samsonite luggage piece. The quality is excellent and they have a 2 year warranty. Your search is over. Buy this bag.

The bag is heavy and floppy. There is insufficient structural support for the top or the bottom section. The weight of everything packed in the top section sits (crushes) directly on whatever is placed in the bottom section. The photos seem to show more support so that the bag itself is supporting the top section, not the just the items packed into the bottom. I ended up packing an unneeded blanket tightly into the bottom section just so the bag had a stable base instead of keeling over. My return window closed before I tried using the bag, else I would definitely return it. It does have an 'open wide' top, which is it's best feature.

This bag is absolutely gorgeous. The chocolate mauve color is so beautiful, the interior is roomy and well organized. I love the lower zipper area for shoes. It’s just so lovely! It fits perfectly on top of the medium spinner ( purchased in the same color). So happy with my order. It arrived quickly as well.
